广播前的听众朋友们大家下午好,这里是每周四下午准时播出的Movie Zone,我是今天的主播吕雅婷。As the release of Kingsman: The Golden Circle’s trailer, many Hollywood’s blockbusters are ready for their hits. No one will know if the Avatar sequels will arrive on time, no matter what will happen, avatar’s official Facebook account said we’ll meet this franchise in Christmas of 2020,2021,2024 and 2025. After Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, another lifetime series,Pirates of the Caribbean sets its date in China in the Dragon Boat Festival, we even surprisingly saw Keira Knightley flashing across the trailer. Hollywood’s blockbusters have become a lifestyle in many people’s lives. Nevertheless, across the ocean ,Bollywood’s movies also take a place in the worldwide film industries. Take 3 idiots for example, many people consider this as the best comedy film ever because it is not only funny, but also has revealed the truth in the real world. Today I present you another Indian comedy called P.K. It might sound bizarre, yet after you seeing it, you’ll know the trick.

P. K. is a comedy of ideas about a stranger in the city, who asks questions that no one has asked before. They are innocent, child-like questions, but they bring about catastrophic answers. People who are set in their ways for generations, are forced to reappraise their world when they see it from PK's innocent eyes. In the process PK makes loyal friends and powerful foes. Mends broken lives and angers the establishment. P. K.'s childlike curiosity transforms into a spiritual odyssey for him and millions of others. The film is an ambitious and uniquely original exploration of complex philosophies. It is also a simple and humane tale of love, laughter and letting-go. Finally, it is a moving saga about a friendship between strangers from worlds apart.

A film like PK can never be made again in Hindi Film Industry because of it's vast variety of content and emotions which directly grips the audience along with the characters. With PK being made, the scale of good cinema has risen further. Rajkumar Hirani has proved that a movie with a strong content can be made with fun and comedy as well. All the characters have their own importance and every incident feels real as one can easily connect with the moments happening in the film. Direction and scripting is so good that you can not point out what mistakes are there. It might not be a perfect film but it is a much better film.

The foundation of this film is the struggle of someone to come to terms with the failed promises of religion. And it's really funny. I saw it the second time in a nearly sold-out cinema and people were applauding some of the most pointed critiques of religious practice - not because they were anti-religious - but because it was pro-human.

There are some really funny moments in this movie, like Aamir trying to bring wine into a mosque had the entire audience laughing. Again, not because it was making fun of Muslims, but because of how clueless the character PK is. It's also heartbreaking. And as I've been digesting this movie over the past day or so , I realize that the artistic choices to break our hearts in the way this movie does was incredibly well done. It's so sudden and unexpected that it's perfect for the story line and the social point they are making.

Even the ending is really astonishing. Aamir is just staring at a shoe in his hand, and yet, what is happening around him is creating so much tension. And you know how it's going to end, but that doesn't make you any less tense hoping that it will end how you want it to. They built the tension up and released it perfectly and Aamir's performance, as understated as it was.

P.K' raises questions upon God, God-Men & Religion. I'm an atheist {[ˈeɪθiɪst]无神论者} and I could connect with the protagonist's fight against the "almighty" to a great extent. The film has moral as well as a terrific message, that will leave this godly world we live in, rather stunned. this story offers moments of pure hilarity, subtle romance, tuneful songs & hard-hitting drama.

The director’s screenplay is excellent. P.K's journey on earth, will leave you in splits. His voice against the God-Men, are clap-worthy, while his Romance with his human girlfriend, is cute. What's truly funny, is that, P.K, an alien, looks far more sorted & normal in comparison to the human characters. And that's Hirani's genius! He delivers a story about our fears & flaws & he executes it remarkably. On the other hand, Hirani's Direction is simple, yet effective. Cinematography & Editing are perfect. Music by Various Artists is tuneful. Visual Effects are decent. Make-Up is nicely done.

There are several inspiring dialogue in this film .As you sit in a small town in a small alley in a small house of yours. God does not want to protect from you, God can protect himself. " "Father not tell you to get the milk to pour it, while the other kids are hungry." "There is no sign of any discrimination that young people need religion"."You have created God or God created you."PK suspects that Tapasvi and other godmen must be dialling a "wrong number" to communicate with God, and are therefore advising the public to engage in meaningless rituals. Jaggu encourages the public to expose the fake godmen, by sending their videos to her news channel. This "wrong number" campaign turns into a popular mass-movement to the shock of Tapasvi. Meanwhile, Bhairon finds the thief and contacts PK, telling him that he sold his remote control to Tapasvi, after which PK realizes that Tapasvi was actually a fraud all along and that it wasn't a "wrong number". Bhairon then informs him that they will come to Delhi, but both die in a terrorist attack. The terrorist attack is later declared by Tapasvi's group to be stated as protecting their Gods. All the plots leads to its finale destination: what is the truth, and what is role that the religion can play.
